We look forward to welcoming you to our sister pub, the historic Castle Inn – an independent pub restaurant situated in the ancient village of Chiddingstone, west Kent. Reopened in April 2017, following sympathetic renovation to restore its heritage charm, The Castle Inn dates back as far as the early 15th century and we’re delighted to be writing another chapter in its story. As a prime example of a traditional English village pub, we intend to keep it that way: serving locally-sourced, home-cooked food and a wide selection of local beers from the Larkins, Westerham and Harveys breweries. On the inside, we have preserved all of The Castle Inn’s traditional period features whilst creating a fresh and welcoming environment where both locals and visitors to the village will enjoy spending time. In the near future, we will be renovating the upstairs areas of the pub to create ten beautifully appointed boutique bedrooms.
